Lake Powell August 09'
This was our first trip to Lake Powell this year, we have been to Lake Mead a few times this summer but this trip was awesome! The weather was great (except for Friday it was windy, yuck!) but it didn't ruin our time, we had a lot of fun. We went with our lake crew, Dillon & Megan, Natalie and Kelvin, Zack and B and I and a few others. We hate for summer to end!

Price MX Race
The boys had a lot of cheerleaders this weekend at the race in Price. Grandma and Grandpa Barnes, Grandma and Grandpa Turnbeaugh, the Barker family, and of course me and B. Keenan went down in both races but he rode hard to catch up so we were proud of him. Craighton was 3rd his first race and 5th his next, it was his first race ever riding his 85 so he did really good.

Weekend in Brian Head
Brandon and I went to Brian Head with Todd and Stacey, and a few other friends. Brandon had everyone in ah again this year snowmobiling, he rides a snowmobile as good and crazy as a dirt bike. I forgot to take my camera with us when we went out riding so I missed taking some really awesome pictures of him. Hopefully we will get to go again this winter before the snow melts.

Happy 2nd Anniversary!
I can't believe it has been two years today since B and I were married. I just want to say that I am still the luckiest girl in the world, and I am very proud to be Brandon's wife. Although we sometimes drive each other crazy and have our little disagreements we always work through it and want each other to be happy. I want to tell Brandon thanks for always loving me and taking care of me and our boys. You are a great man and I am so thankful to have you in my life. I love you, and Happy Anniversary My B!!!! (I thought I would put a picture of us at the lake just a couple of weeks ago cuz that is one of our favorite places to be together, obviously B can't wait for summer to be here!)

My Dad Is Cancer Free!!!
My dad had surgery a few weeks ago to remove cancer from his cheek. He has had spots burned off and taken out a couple of different times but this time was different because it was melanoma. He had to go back in last week for a bunch of tests to check to see if the cancer had spread and he just found out yesterday that it hadn't and that he is fine. I was so relieved to hear that and so was the rest of our family.
So, being thankful and relieved I thought I would write somethings about my dad to let him and everyone know how much I love him and how grateful I am to have him as my dad. I was the first born and being a girl and then having Tennill born 2 years later my dad raised me to be quite the tomboy, he had us two girls and him being an athlete himself and no boys around yet he taught me how to play baseball, basketball and even how to throw a football. (I think I throw better than my brothers!!!:)) But later in life at about 10 years old I took after my mom and began to love horses. They were my first true love and mom and dad both knew it and saw I had a talent and helped me to become the best I could. My dad has stuck by me through thick and thin, and even at my worst moments he still loved me and supported me. He has hauled my butt all over from state to state to high school rodeos, college rodeos, and barrel races for years and years (He still feeds and takes care of my horses everyday, yes I am spoiled) I have a lot of good memories at rodeos with him. Mostly though he loves my boys and would do anything for them, my boys love him so much too. I hope that he knows how loved and appreciated he is by me, Brandon, and our boys. And I hope that he is as proud to be my dad as I am to be his daughter. I love you dad.

Our New Addition "Sprocket"
Ok, so I have to say I really didn't want another puppy (let alone a pitbull) but because everyone misses Rocky so much Brandon and Craighton thought we HAD to have one. (Not like Drake our wiener dog isn't enough of a pain in the butt!) But, they are both so cute and everyone is having a lot of fun with the two of them. Drake is a little jealous and so I tried explaining to him that Sprocket will grow up, and when he does he won't be laying on Brandon's chest and he can have his spot back.

We Will Miss You Rocky
We had to put Rocky down last Friday, and I have to say that doing that was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do, I cried for days. In fact, besides me,B, and the boys my mom and dad had a really hard time too because they were also so attached to him. He got really sick about a month ago and just kept getting worse, so Brandon and I took him to the vet and they told us he needed to be put down. We raised him from a puppy and had him for nine years, he was such a good dog for me and my boys, we all loved him a lot and will miss him.
Happy New Year!!!!
